揭密绿卡之代码
因为＂申请新护照，绿卡刚一递上去，领馆小姐就质问为什麽政治庇护＂。于是问，＂绿卡上面的号码有什麽秘密吗＂？
的确如猜。
在上面的绿卡可以看到有 Category 一栏，列在生日和性别之间。其代码有固定的含义，指明了该绿卡持有人是如何申请绿卡的，以及获得绿卡批准的方式。
在＂美国绿卡申请入门＂一文中，有介绍申请绿卡的一些常识，如 EB 类有 1, 2, 3 之分，I-140 之后有境内申请身份调整 (I-485) 或境外申请移民签证
(CP) 两法。
不管是 EB 类绿卡，还是 FB, 差不多任何类的绿卡，都有这两种不同的获得途径。
